Local property developer, Nordic Properties enlisted us in 2021 to transform their newly acquired manufacturing facility site in Copenhagen into stylish office and laboratory spaces, riding the wave of the area's commercial makeover. Collaborating with Nordic Properties and 3RK planning consultants, we crafted a plan to meet the needs of future tenants, adhere to regulations, and manage costs effectively.
Our design approach focused on creating distinct office spaces within the existing structure, utilizing sleek glass partitions and adaptable spine-like corridors. Fire safety was paramount, with integrated precautions throughout. To control expenses, we preserved the original 1960s structure and upgraded it with new windows and doors that harmonized with the existing aesthetic.
We also added two new canteens, four reception spaces, and basement manufacturing facilities to enhance the space. Despite budget constraints, we delivered a full Category A fit-out tailored to tenants' requirements. This successful collaboration paved the way for additional projects with Nordic Properties, including the refurbishment of Brandstrupvej and the construction of Ballerup Byvej HQ
